PRISM Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Owner to support a large enterprise client. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting technologies that deliver services and support to the eCommerce website and related cross functional teams. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog, translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical solutions ready for development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Articulating product vision, priorities, and tradeoffs to diverse audiences. Operating in a highly matrixed environment, this role must proactively manage stakeholder expectations, influence outcomes across competing priorities, and provide transparent updates on backlog health and shifting business needs. The ideal candidate is moderately technical, an effective problem solver, and a strong communicator—skilled at bridging business and technology to drive alignment, clarity, and delivery. Maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features to include refined user stories with solid functional solutions that are ready for development. Help define new product features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps. Support the definition of product requirements and development of the product roadmap. Provide and aggregate clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, and wire-frames and mockups to support development. Coordinate with support teams for defect resolution. Provides functional expertise and support to persons inside and outside of the department. Provides operational support to the business and technical teams. Demonstrates knowledge of eCommerce job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes. Demonstrates knowledge of eCommerce function-specific procedures. Monitors market and competitive developments and translates new insights into practical, value-driven enhancements to the product roadmap and delivery. Proven ability to lead and work with global cross-functional teams in support of specific business priorities. Ability to solve problems quickly, think strategically, and drive data-driven decision making. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and aggressive timelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(EDUCATION/SKILLS): 6 years' experience in eCommerce Experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Experience with or knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practices preferred Experience with or knowledge of SAFe preferred Experience with Jira and Confluence Demonstrated understanding of core eCommerce concepts and end-to-end customer purchase journeys Skilled at converting business needs into functional requirements Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action Excellent communicator, both written and spoken. Must be able to explain product vision, business objective, functional and technical feasibility, define requirements, and technical implementations Demonstrated ability to deliver results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines PRISM is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
