Job Description

The IT Product Manager - Accessories is responsible for defining and delivering technology solutions that enable the endtoend Accessories business across dealer, retail, and digital ecosystems. This role bridges Accessories business strategy with IT execution, ensuring scalable, high-quality platforms that support product portfolio management, gotomarket execution, and customer experience.

The Product Manager will own the roadmap and lifecycle of Accessories systems, including catalog management, vehicle applicability, pricing, publishing, and digital commerce integrations, working closely with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision (IT + Business Alignment):

Define and communicate the technology product vision and roadmap for Accessories platforms aligned with Aftersales strategyTranslate Accessories business priorities into scalable IT solutions and product capabilitiesAlign with global Accessories strategy, including revenue growth, attach rate, and customer experience goalsIdentify opportunities to modernize systems, improve data flows, and enable digital capabilities
Product Ownership & Backlog Management:
Own and manage the Accessories product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and technical feasibilityConvert business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specificationsWork closely with Business Analysts to ensure clear and complete requirements documentationLead Agile ceremonies and ensure continuous delivery of value
Accessories Systems & Platform Enablement:
Oversee key Accessories capabilities and systems, including:

Product definitions & engineeringVehicle applicability and configuration logicProduct sourcing & purchasingPricing, promotions, and incentivesPublishing to dealer (B2N) and customer-facing (B2C) platformsEnsure seamless integration across upstream and downstream systems (ERP, eCommerce, dealer systems)
GoToMarket & Launch Support:
Partner with Accessories Product Management and Operations to enable IT readiness for launchesEnsure systems support:

New accessory introductionsDealer Installed Options (MDIO)Custom shop and upfit workflowsCoordinate system deployments aligned with product launch timelines Digital & e
Commerce Integration:
Collaborate with Digital and eCommerce teams to support:

Online accessory browsing and configurationVehicle customizer tools and digital merchandisingCustomer journey improvements and personalizationEnable integrations with digital platforms and customer data systems to improve engagement and conversion
Data, Analytics & Performance Management:
Define and track product KPIs such as:

System performance and reliabilityData quality and completenessConversion, attach rate, and revenue impactLeverage analytics to prioritize enhancements and improve outcomesSupport reporting capabilities and data accessibility for business teams
CrossFunctional Leadership:
Serve as the primary interface between business and IT teamsCollaborate across:

Accessories Product ManagementOperations & Supply ChainPricing & MarketingIT architecture and development teamsDrive alignment across global and regional stakeholders
Testing, Deployment & Continuous Improvement:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needsOversee product releases, issue resolution, and postlaunch supportIdentify opportunities to:

Reduce manual processesImprove automation and data accuracyEnhance system scalability and usability
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in IT Product Management, Business Analysis, or Digital PlatformsStrong understanding of:

Automotive Aftersales / Accessories businessProduct lifecycle and gotomarket processesDigital commerce platforms and integrationsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Ability to work across global and crossfunctional teams
Key Success Factors:
