Job Description:
We are currently seeking a CRM Product Owner in our Middletown, NY location. We are launching a new business systems platform that brings together custom-built ERP capabilities tightly integrated with CRM and other off-the-shelf tools to shape how we operate internally and how we engage with our customers and vendors going forward.

We are looking for someone to help define and shape how our systems should work so they reflect our current and evolving business processes. This is a business-facing position focused on understanding workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating those needs into system capabilities. As a Product owner you will: Work with teams across the organization to identify process gaps, improvement opportunities, and system needs. Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for system enhancements. Leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted approaches, to make system requirements clearer and faster to produce. Help guide our implementation vendors by prioritizing our feature backlog. Participate in planning sessions, backlog reviews, and product demonstrations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine workflows and processes. Serve as the primary point of coordination, representing business needs to system partners and ensuring alignment. Ensure systems effectively support both internal operations and customer/vendor interactions. Communicate upcoming system changes and gather feedback from users. Identify opportunities to improve processes, data visibility, system integration, and overall user experience. As part of a small IT team, provide occasional support for broader IT needs when required.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in technical product ownership, business systems analysis, or roles supporting enterprise systems. Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and/or ERP systems, ideally including customization or implementation efforts. Strong understanding of how business processes across sales and operations translate into system requirements and workflows. Experience gathering and documenting requirements, prioritizing work, and managing a backlog in collaboration with technical teams or vendors. Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and business domains in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to end-to-end system implementations or major platform rollouts (CRM, ERP, or similar). Experience supporting or enabling integrations between systems (e.g., CRM ? ERP ? other platforms). Experience driving user adoption, change management, or training related to new systems. Interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve business processes and system capabilities. Exposure to product information management (PIM), catalog systems, or similar data-driven platforms.
