We were looking for a Data Management Product Owner . Data Management Product Owner Serving as the 'voice of the customer,' the Product Owner must build and manage key relationships, synthesize information from multiple sources, maintain business alignment in the Team Backlog, and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences—all with a bias toward delivering and learning quickly. Additionally, as the Product Owner, you must: Translate the product manager's strategy into actionable features, stories and tasks Ensure alignment between product goals and overall business objectives Translate the product manager's strategy into actionable features, stories, and tasks Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects the latest priorities and insights Collaborate with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of backlog items and facilitate efficient delivery Accept completed user stories to ensure the work fulfills the acceptance criteria Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews Validate assumptions and business problems Define clear requirements Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team Communicate progress to key stakeholders throughout the sprint and release Knowledge/Skills Microsoft Azure Boards Project management Additional duties that may get assigned where Business Analyst experience would be helpful Draft and send stakeholder communications Requirements gathering Identify potential risks and challenges Create current state documentation Wants someone to be the data management product owner, to own all things data- data migrations, applications, reports running off it, etc
- This project involves the Azure data migration project (run on Agile) A lot of the data sits in Azure, but some data sits elsewhere, and there are several projects lined up to move other data into Azure as well (i.e., from SAS or flat files) This person will work to support these 3 teams (and also the end users that depend on them)
- Data Solutions Team
- Data Engineering team
- Data Governance Team
- This person will help run agile ceremonies and sprints for the managers
