Product Owner#26-05223 Plano, TX 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/30/2026 Ends 5/19/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a SAFe Product Owner - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. This role joins a dynamic team in the security or banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies and a deep understanding of financial services or security systems, and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the team backlog to maintain the integrity of features andponents.

Responsibilities:

Define and prioritize the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features orponents for the team Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business priorities Lead the planning of product release plans / PI planning, S Planning and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities Provide an active role in mitigating dependencies of team which help successfulpletion of Release/S Goals Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends Be accountable for adhering to enterprise standards for documentation in our software delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, etc) Run daily scrum calls, planning meetings, backlog grooming Generate reports using JIRA

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in the security or banking domain Must have prior DEV or QA back ground Ability to drive a Technology driven project Experience inmunicating and coordinating between Developers, Architects, Business partners effectively Experience in understanding new requirements and size the efforts Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box Demonstrated ability in writing user stories and managing backlogs Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), with SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification strongly preferred Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum Technical proficiency in using JIRA or other agile project management tools Desired skills: Experience in a SAFe Agile environment Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting the banking or security sectors, such as

GDPR, MRA

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments Experience with Jira-Atlassian software delivery web application Pay range: $54.37 - $62.37 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
