Product Owner - Application Security

Please no 3rd party subcontractor inquiries Our banking is seeking a Product Owner to join their dynamic Application Security team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Security and Digital Product Management department supporting multiple delivery teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

60-65/hr W2 (Due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontracting companies; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly) What's the Job? Translate enterprise application security strategies into actionable product features and deliverables. Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with security objectives and business value. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful feature delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Define project timelines and oversee initiatives from intake through execution and delivery. Identify and remediate security risks in application code, supporting secure development practices across enterprise applications. What's Needed? 5+ years of experience in Digital Product Management or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in application security. Proven experience as a Product Owner within a product operating model. Strong background in Application Security (AppSec), including vulnerability management and code scanning. Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks and managing product backlogs. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical teams and stakeholders. What's in it for me?
