Remote Technical Product Owner

Job Description The Technical Product Owner will drive ongoing enhancements to the Care Connect data exchange solution (care gaps tool), partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to expand functionality that is already implemented. This role blends BA and PO responsibilities—owning discovery, requirements, and delivery execution—while translating interoperability needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has strong data mapping expertise and hands-on experience with healthcare data exchange standards, including FHIR and HL7/CCDA, and is comfortable leading mixed teams of technical and non-technical partners to deliver reliable integrations and measurable outcomes. Skills and Requirements Strong data mapping experience (mapping clinical/administrative data elements across systems and validating mappings end-to-end). Healthcare data exchange / interoperability experience, including API/integration-driven workflows and cross-system data movement. FHIR familiarity (able to translate requirements into FHIR-aligned stories and support implementation/validation).

HL7 / CCDA

exposure (working knowledge of CCDA and related HL7 specifications/clinical data architecture). Agile Product Owner + Business Analyst mix, with experience leading or influencing both business and technical teams (backlog ownership, sprint readiness, and stakeholder alignment).
