Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM•5:00
PM Duration:
6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
Pay Rate:
$39•47/hour Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a high-performing solution delivery team. This individual will work closely with product leadership and business stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful product solutions while guiding an Agile team throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Serve as the subject matter expert for the product, ensuring delivery of measurable business value Translate business objectives into clear product requirements , including epics, features, and user stories Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and success criteria Partner with Product Management to refine and execute the product roadmap Own and prioritize the product backlog , ensuring requirements are well-defined and actionable Establish sprint goals, acceptance criteria, and ensure successful Agile delivery Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage scope, dependencies, and requirements Gather and incorporate end-user feedback to validate product effectiveness Identify and remove roadblocks to maintain team productivity Coordinate product releases and ensure alignment across business and technical teams Evaluate risks and benefits of enhancements and drive informed decision-making Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner 2-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong experience in an Agile/Scrum environment Proven ability to write epics, features, and user stories and define process flows Experience translating business requirements into functional product specifications Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) Preferred Qualifications Certified Product Owner (PMPO or similar) Experience with SAFe or other Agile frameworks Background in the insurance industry
