Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on optimizing the flow of work and value delivered for medium- to highplexity projects and programs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-starting Scrum Master, effective at identifying and removing impediments, and responsible for coaching teams to operate with greater business agility, ensuring transparency, alignment, and consistent execution.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including S Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, S Demos/Reviews, and S Retrospectives, using JIRA as the system of record
Promote business agility by enabling teams to adapt quickly to change and continuously align delivery to evolving business priorities
Provide clear, timely visibility into the team's delivery plans, progress, and risks to stakeholders
Proactively manage risk, including dependency management, impediment removal, andpliance with policy requirements and produce meaningful delivery and flow metrics to assess team performance, maturity, and oues
Partner closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure a healthy, prioritized Product and S Backlog
Act as a self-starter who identifies problems early, drives resolution, andmunicates clearly across teams
Provide coaching and mentoring to help teams achieve sustained, high performance and continuous improvement
Lead and support scaled planning activities, including Program Increment Planning events, and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master
Fluent in Jira, SCRUM, and Agile frameworks
Demonstrated ability to lead, program manage, and drive oues
Experience with delivery and risk management
Strong understanding of flow metrics and reporting
Excellent stakeholdermunication, coaching, and leadership skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook
Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
