Contract Role Overview We are seeking a senior-level Scrum Master to support a technical team focused on API and 3rd party file integrations. This role is integral to ensuring the adoption of effective Scrum practices, coordinating delivery, and facilitating cross-team collaboration. The position requires a candidate who can operate effectively within a technical environment and communicate clearly with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead a technical team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and adherence to Scrum principles. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support the team in delivering on project goals related to API and 3rd party file integrations. Serve as the primary liaison for the team, articulating risks, dependencies, and priorities to project leadership and stakeholders. Manage and maintain the team's backlog and workflow within Azure DevOps (ADO). Coach team members on Agile best practices and Scrum framework application.

Required Qualifications Experience:

Proven experience as a senior-level Scrum Master. Demonstrated experience supporting API and integration-focused technical teams.

Technical Skills:

Advanced expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required.

Professional Skills:

Excellent facilitation, coaching, and Scrum leadership abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Agile certifications are highly desirable. Experience within the Healthcare or IT industries is preferred. Work Environment This role is based in the Chicago area. The candidate must be able to work on-site as needed to collaborate with the team. Compensation The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $60.00 and $70.00 USD.
