Scrum Master#26-04330 Irving, TX Charlotte, NC On-site Contract Starts 4/30/2026 Ends 4/29/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires a Scrum Master who demonstrates strong leadership presence with the ability to drive oues, influence without authority, and proactively escalate risks and impediments early and often. The ideal candidate will befortable operating in ambiguity, exercising sound judgment, and engaging the right stakeholders at the right time to protect deliverymitments and reduce enterprise risk.

Responsibilities:

Actively drive resolution of team impediments, cross-team dependencies, and delivery risks by influencing Product Owners, technology partners, and leaders through clear, fact-basedmunication Identify, assess, and escalate risks early within the s or planning horizon ensuring leadership has timely visibility into issues that may impact scope, schedule, quality, orpliance Facilitate the scrum process for moderatelyplex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work Guide scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, andmitment for each S Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adnce to corporate standards Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers tomunicate delivery of work product from the team and remove impediments

Requirements:

4+ years of Scrum or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or abination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education Experience with influential leadership, risk and dependency management, and executive escalation Demonstrated ownership and accountability for surfacing concerns, challenging assumptions, and advocating for the team when delivery is at risk Strong leadership presence during ceremonies and stakeholder interactions, confidently navigating difficult conversations and reinforcing agile discipline and expectations Ability to operate as a trusted escalation partner, ensuring transparency into decision points, tradeoffs, and process overrides Pay range: $51.09 - $59.09 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
