OVERVIEW
Supports multiple cross-functional Agile software development teams by analyzing business and technical requirements, evaluating system workflows, and facilitating the implementation of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP). Collaborates with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into functional user stories, system specifications, and workflow improvements. Promotes collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement while ensuring system development activities comply with organizational technology standards and business objectives. Communicates and documents system progress, technical dependencies, and potential impediments to maintain visibility across stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to translate business and technical requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and actionable implementation plans. Work closely with enterprise architects and infrastructure teams to ensure integration and alignment across systems, addressing security, scalability, and performance needs. Lead Agile practices by facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth communication and delivery that aligns with business goals. Coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to review and refine backlog items, ensuring they are clear, testable, and prioritized. Plan and monitor testing activities, assist in defect triage, and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality outcomes. Provide guidance on best practices in Agile methodology, testing, documentation standards, and workflow processes across teams. Conduct resource planning, effort estimation, and allocate responsibilities effectively to meet delivery timelines for both development and testing efforts. Identify and remove technical or process-related impediments to enhance system performance and optimize the development lifecycle. Maintain clear and concise documentation for requirements, test designs, system processes, and operational procedures, ensuring business continuity. Use Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps to document requirements, track project progress, and provide visibility into team deliverables and dependencies. Analyze system workflows, testing strategies, and development processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and faster delivery cycles. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and risk management requirements throughout the development and testing phases. Communicate project updates and deliverables to stakeholders, including final sign-offs and detailed reporting to ensure alignment and transparency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing delivery metrics, testing feedback, and recommending process changes to increase software quality and system reliability. Support audit readiness and resolve findings by maintaining alignment with internal control standards throughout system development activities.
SUPERVISORY / MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not have direct supervisory authority but coordinates work activities across cross-functional teams through collaboration, technical guidance, and facilitation of Agile development processes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a member of an Agile software development team, including a minimum of 2 years performing responsibilities such as analyzing business and technical requirements, translating requirements into functional specifications, supporting system implementation, and facilitating Agile processes. Alternatively, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience, including at least 4 years performing system analysis, workflow evaluation, and Agile delivery support.
