Position Summary:

This role supports a data modernization program and will partner with mature agile delivery teams to drive predictable delivery, remove impediments, and improve flow. The Scrum Lead will typically support up to two teams (approximately 10 people per team, inclusive of product and technical leadership) and collaborate with offshore resources based in Hyderabad. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Lead core Scrum ceremonies, including daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives.
• Support teams in breaking down and slicing work effectively to improve feature flow time and demonstrate measurable progress against OKRs.
• Own impediment management: identify blockers, drive resolution, and escalate items requiring leadership action.
• Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, and technical leadership to facilitate prioritization discussions (e.g., balancing technical debt, defects, and customer value).
• Operate in a metrics-driven environment: track and communicate delivery health using Jira (epics, capabilities, initiatives, and how work ladders across levels).
• Drive continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle, including identifying SDLC/process gaps (requirements, development, testing, test data, QA coverage, automation) and creating actionable plans with timelines.
• Leverage and promote automation and AI-enabled ways of working (e.g., using tools like Claude to reduce manual reporting/communications effort and enable more coaching and team enablement).
• Contribute to broader product operating system ceremonies such as epic reviews and flow reviews; support capability reviews at higher levels as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with offshore development center resources (Hyderabad), ensuring effective planning and communication across time zones. Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience serving as a Scrum Master / Scrum Lead for agile delivery teams, including direct facilitation of Scrum ceremonies.
• Demonstrated experience removing impediments and improving team execution through coaching and practical problem-solving.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira (and how delivery artifacts such as epics/capabilities/initiatives relate) in a metrics-driven environment.
• Experience working with distributed and/or offshore teams; ability to coordinate across time zones.
• Understanding of SDLC practices and the ability to identify gaps in requirements, testing/QA, automation, or release processes.
• Scrum certification (e.g., Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org) with practical application in delivery environments. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting multiple teams concurrently (target operating model of approximately 2 teams per Scrum Lead).
• Exposure to data modernization programs and/or complex system integration work.
• Working familiarity with cloud-based Atlassian tooling (Jira and Confluence Cloud); awareness of differences between on-prem and cloud.
• Comfort with technical concepts and integration patterns (helpful but not required), such as AWS and Microsoft Dynamics integrations and multi-system data sources.
• Experience using AI tools to automate team operations and reporting (e.g., Claude) and/or familiarity with Atlassian AI capabilities.
• Background in hybrid agile delivery roles (e.g., Agile Delivery Lead) or multi-hat experience across analyst/PM/product roles. Key Tools / Environment
