Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Management Lead - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple applications and domains. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management standards, drive operational excellence, and manage risks while supporting Agile delivery, mentoring team members, and collaborating with senior technology leaders.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage release planning, scheduling, and execution for multiple applications at domain or executive level Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and MRA 2 guidelines Identify process gaps, risks, and implement operational excellence improvements Coordinate with development, deployment, and support teams for successful releases Mentor new team members and promote best practices in release and change management Provide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders on release status, risks, and dependencies Requirements:
Experience with Release & Change Management Tools such as ITSM Remedy Change Management Compliance Expertise with MRA 2 guidelines and Enterprise Change Management standards Knowledge of Agile Frameworks:
Scrum, SAFe, and Agile principles Proficiency with Collaboration Tools:
Jira, Confluence, MS Teams Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and risk management capabilities Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite Desired skills: Well versed in Project Management within a Scaled Agile environment Proven track record of successfully managing projects Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation engagement skills Strong interpersonal, negotiation, adaptation, and conflict-management skills Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues, and consistently react to shifting deadlines Ability to work with disparate teams globally Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-specific environment Strong experience with tools like Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
