Job Title:
Scrum Master Job Description This role leads agile sprints for a medical software development team, ensuring that the Scrum framework is applied effectively to deliver high-quality software in a predictable and collaborative way. Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the medical software development team. Guide the team in applying Scrum methodology and agile principles to plan, execute, and deliver software increments consistently. Remove impediments that block the team's progress and proactively address risks and issues that affect sprint goals. Support the team in breaking down work, estimating effort, and maintaining a healthy and transparent product and sprint backlog. Encourage continuous improvement by helping the team inspect and adapt processes, tools, and collaboration practices. Promote clear communication and alignment within the development team and with relevant stakeholders. Ensure that agile best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle for medical software projects. Essential Skills Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in an agile software development environment. Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and agile principles. Hands-on experience supporting software projects using Scrum frameworks. Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach teams in agile practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working on medical or healthcare-related software projects is highly beneficial. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and cross-functional development teams. Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability. Work Environment The role supports an agile medical software development team that works in iterative sprints and relies on close collaboration, regular communication, and continuous feedback. The environment emphasizes transparency, teamwork, and adherence to Scrum practices to deliver high-quality software. Work is focused on software planning, development, and delivery using agile tools and ceremonies to structure each sprint. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
