Scrum Master IV Location:

Long-Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master IV to support a high-performing software engineering team delivering complex modernization and enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong Agile leader who can drive delivery excellence, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and coach teams toward continuous improvement and predictable outcomes. Responsibilities Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with business objectives. Remove obstacles and manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure smooth delivery. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, estimation techniques, and delivery best practices. Coordinate across engineering, architecture, QA, DevOps, business, and support teams. Protect the team from scope creep and external disruptions while maintaining focus on sprint goals. Monitor and analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, throughput, and predictability. Support release planning, risk management, and communication across multiple workstreams. Promote engineering excellence through adherence to Definition of Done, technical debt visibility, and quality-focused delivery practices. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead supporting software engineering teams. Strong experience working in complex technical environments, including modernization, enterprise integration, or distributed systems. Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Experience coordinating across architecture, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams. Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills. Proven ability to coach teams and stakeholders at varying levels of Agile maturity. Hands-on experience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives. Exposure to enterprise integration, legacy system modernization, or distributed application environments. Strong understanding of Agile metrics and continuous improvement practices.
