This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.
  • Your future duties and responsibilities:
  • Champion and facilitate Agile software development processes.
  • Lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Track team progress, risks, and blockers, and report regularly to program leadership.
  • Maintain Agile tracking tools and generate status reports.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of Agile workflows and effective team coordination.
  • Communicate clearly with both customer and internal teams.
  • Identify, document, and manage risks and issues; collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Coach the team on Agile methodology and Scrum best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement in Scrum maturity and team performance.
  • Maintain user documentation in a DevOps environment with continuous testing and deployment.
  • Apply Scrum techniques such as story splitting, estimation, and velocity tracking.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of IT systems, databases, operating systems, CI/CD pipelines, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to align team focus with Sprint and Program Increment goals.
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, along with successful completion of CGI's background check.
  • Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a
DHS/CISA
EOD/Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Agile IT development projects.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Agile project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in project management, organization, and analytical thinking.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience managing Agile development and O&M teams.
  • Familiarity with tools and methods for managing product releases, sprints, and development cycles.
  • Ability to maintain documentation in a DevOps environment with continuous testing and deployment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues across IT systems, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
