Job Description
Senior App Dev Scrum Master / Project Manager Join a leading-edge IT strategy initiative as a Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager. This role features an 85% Scrum Master and 15% Project Management split, overseeing the full lifecycle of high-impact application development projects from inception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards for complex software initiatives. Facilitate core Agile ceremonies and lead strategic status meetings. Navigate risk mitigation and issue resolution while managing both internal and off-site vendor teams. Maintain comprehensive project dashboards, repositories, and executive-level reporting. Guide teams through Waterfall-to-Agile transformations and ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies.Requirements:
Experience:
8+ years in IT Project Management and 6+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master for software teams.Agile Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile; experience with large-scale transformation projects.Tools:
High proficiency in Jira and PPM tools (MS Project, SharePoint); experience with Jira Align or ServiceNow SPM is a plus.Certifications:
Active CSM or SAFe certification required.Education:
Bachelor s degree in a technical or business field; MBA preferred.Details:
This is a 6-month contract with annual renewals. The role is hybrid (3 days/week) in the Midtown area, offering easy MARTA access and top-tier onsite amenities. Must be US-authorized.
