Job Description

Five Rivers Analytics is seeking a highly organized and collaborative SCRUM Master to support the Logistics Analysis Data System (LADS) program at NIWC Atlantic. The ideal candidate is an experienced agile facilitator who can coordinate cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality analytics and software capabilities to our Navy stakeholders. This role is instrumental in maintaining agile discipline, fostering continuous improvement, and enabling the LADS team to meet mission-critical objectives. Responsibilities Serve as SCRUM Master for one or more agile development teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, ceremonies, and best practices. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well‑groomed backlog aligned with LADS program priorities and NIWC Atlantic stakeholder requirements. Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and agile metrics to leadership and government counterparts. Identify and remove impediments that hinder team productivity or delivery timelines. Support coordination across development, data engineering, cybersecurity, testing, and program management teams. Promote agile maturity, coaching team members and stakeholders on effective agile behaviors and processes. Ensure compliance with NIWC Atlantic processes, documentation standards, and security requirements. Assist with risk management, sprint-level planning, cross-team alignment, and release coordination. Foster a collaborative, transparent, and continuous improvement culture. Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience serving as a SCRUM Master in an agile software or data analytics environment. Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent). Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. Experience supporting DoD, Navy, or government programs. Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with NIWC Atlantic programs or Navy logistics/analytics systems such as LADS. Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, Jira/Confluence, or other agile lifecycle tools. Experience supporting data analytics, data engineering, or cloud modernization efforts. Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher). Safe experience or certification. Job
