$55 to $75 per hour Experience candidates Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Scrum Master to lead agile teams in delivering innovative enterprise software solutions. As a vital facilitator of Agile practices, the Scrum Master will champion collaboration, continuous improvement, and efficient project execution across multiple teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence project success through strong leadership, clear communication, and expert knowledge of project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fostering Agile environments, leveraging cloud computing platforms like AWS, and ensuring seamless project delivery within complex IT infrastructures. Duties Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings to ensure team alignment and momentum. Remove impediments that hinder team progress by working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Promote adherence to Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to optimize workflow efficiency. Manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, VersionOne, and TFS to track progress and ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements, define user stories, and develop comprehensive test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT). Support the implementation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices and IT governance standards across projects. Lead release management activities including deployment planning, disaster recovery strategies, and change management processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project metrics, facilitating lessons learned sessions, and promoting a culture of agility. Qualifications Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar project management role within enterprise software environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Waterfall hybrid models. Expertise in project management software including Jira, VersionOne, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and concepts related to IT infrastructure and disaster recovery. Knowledge of databases such as SQL and Oracle; experience with requirements gathering and analysis skills is essential. Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation across diverse groups. Ability to coordinate project scheduling, manage timelines efficiently, and utilize tools like Visio for process mapping. Strong understanding of SDLC processes including test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management.
