Job Description

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a consumer technology organization to identify a Scrum Master supporting a large-scale Data Engineering and Data Product environment in Plano, TX. This role is onsite and will support Agile delivery, cross-functional coordination, and operational discipline within a growing enterprise data organization. This position is ideal for a Scrum Master who understands modern data platforms and can operate effectively within highly technical data engineering environments. The right candidate is process-oriented, collaborative, and capable of identifying delivery risks before they become major issues.
Required:
Prior Scrum Master experience supporting Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Data Product teams Strong conceptual understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, data warehouses, and enterprise data delivery Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments with strong Jira and delivery management discipline Ability to manage cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Data, and leadership teams Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical delivery concerns into business impact
Preferred:
Experience supporting Snowflake, Python-based ecosystems, or large-scale enterprise data environments Background within enterprise-scale or consulting-led technology organizations Experience supporting capacity planning, forecasting, and Agile delivery reporting Scrum certification, such as CSM or PSM Experience helping establish structure and process within growing Agile organizations This is a strong opportunity for a technically aware Scrum Master who wants to help shape delivery operations inside a newly forming enterprise Data Product organization.
