OVERVIEW
As a Senior Scrum Master/ Product Owner, you'll be at the forefront of orchestrating software solutions that directly impact our client's law enforcement mission. You'll work with dedicated team members and clients to solve complex technical problems and develop systems that keep our country safe and secure.
GENERAL DUTIES
Work closely alongside the Program Manager and Sr Architects to influence and lead multiple cross-functional teams through the Agile software development lifecycle to deliver monthly and ad hoc software releases Guide requirements refinement, including robust and detailed decision making written records; ensure user stories contain relevant context, testing plans and interdependencies. Ensure design prototypes will meet functional requirements and can be achieved technically in estimated scope while achieving business objectives. Participate in integration/ QA testing of software and services. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues alongside stakeholders and development teams. Communicate credibly, confidently and effectively to guide decision making among government program managers, multiple contractor development teams, and enterprise infrastructure, network, security and other stakeholders. Retain and enforce Agile framework adoption and adherence across all teams, including the ability to quickly and deeply grasp the core design of technical solutions and contribute to accurate story point/velocity scoping. Respond to client requirements in tight timeframes, demonstrating flexibility in work location and hours. Assist stakeholders in discussion and decomposition of complex software development Epics/ Features; create clarity and consensus among clients and work teams. Orchestrate JIRA sprint/ release management including from grooming, planning, demos, design refinement, facilitation of User Acceptance Testing, smoke testing. Serve as primary liaison across all government and contractor program teams. Maintain deep understanding of multiple systems' design, operational requirements, major workflows, governance and security standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to authoritatively guide and persuade across multiple functional workstreams across a medium-large project or program (10) or more years of relevant work experience; experience in U.S. Government Federal Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, or other task/artifact/ticket tracking tools Demonstrated experience guiding decision making and requirements refinement and design vision on medium-large projects with many stakeholders and cross-functional work teams
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Law Enforcement software development environment is a bonus Certified Scrum Master (CSM); Scaled (SAFe) Agile Certification preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
