Job Description

Everforth ECS CS is seeking a Scrum Masterto work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Role & Responsibilities:
TheSAFeScrum Master is a servant leader and coach for an Agile team, responsible for ensuring that the team follows Agile practices and principles. The Scrum Masterfacilitatesteam events, removes impediments, and fosters an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow,predictable delivery,and relentless improvement.

Specificresponsibilities will include:
Facilitate Agile Events:
Organize andfacilitatekey Agile events, including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Iteration Reviews, and RetrospectivesSupport the
Team:
Assist the team in meeting their delivery goals by coaching them in self-organization and self-management
Remove Impediments:
Identifyand remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.
PromoteSAFePractices:
Educate the team onSAFeprinciples and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP)Coordinate withART (Agile Release Train): Work closely with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure alignment and coordination across the ARTFacilitates preparation and readiness for ART events.

Assistthe team in preparation for ART activities, including backlog refinementandsupporting upcoming Planning IntervalsCoordinate with other teams: Support the team's efforts to continuously improve communications and relationships with other teams.

Representthe team in the Scrum of Scrums (SoS), helping the team remain aware of opportunities to engage and improve program effectiveness
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team toidentifyand implement process enhancements
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintainclear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on team progress, risks, and dependenciesUS citizenshipwith ability to obtainandmaintainPublic Trust SuitabilityBachelor's degree in Computer ScienceorInformation Technology, orequivalent technical project experienceCertifiedSAFeScrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM),or equivalent experienceMinimum of5years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a related Agile role(Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, etc.)Strong understanding ofScrum and Kanban principles,SAFeprinciples,and Lean-Agile practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectivelyoncross-functional teamsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProvenexpertisein deliverable tracking in an Agile environmentExperience with Agile tools (for example JIRA,Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.)
