Job Description

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Work across the Product, Program Management, and Development teams to plan release cycles Facilitate team discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution, both in daily scrum meetings and through Slack Identify, track, and communicate KPIs and team metrics across the organization Schedule, host, and follow-up on Agile ceremonies: daily stand-up (scrum) meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, backlog grooming/refinement, backlog sizing, and sprint planning Embrace the development processes for producing a medical device, identify opportunities for improvement, and work directly with the Software Engineering manager to hold the team accountable for processes while meeting deliverable commitments Understand and use a variety of creative techniques to continuously optimize ceremonies, team participation, and engagement with say/do optimization Identify training and improvement opportunities and facilitate rollout across the team members Lead and encourage the scrum team to collaborate and self-organize Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame with an emphasis on problem solving and delivering quality Provide internal and external communication with transparency by creating visible tracking deliverables, including dashboards and demos
Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience playing the Scrum Master role or comparable role for at least two years for a software development team that was applying Scrum or similar principles, practices, and theory. Experience working within an agile or similar software engineering environment for at least two years to deliver results Experience in conducting daily scrum meetings and working across one to two global teams Excellent communication, mentoring, planning, and leadership skills Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts. Must comply with company vaccination policy. Ability to follow DI's policies and procedures. Education and/or Experience BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use. Supervision Level This person reports directly to the Software Engineering Manager.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range :
$126,112 - $161,694 (Compensation will vary based on skills and experience)
Bonus Eligibility :
Full-time, non-sales employees are eligible for DI's annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
