Job Description

Overview Develop new and existing technologies and software solutions using front-end and/or back-end skillsets. Provide technical guidance in collaboration with software developers and customer throughout the product's development. Responsibilities Develop web-based applications that will serve content to thousands of users across the Department of Defense (DoD) using the Palantir platform. Develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies. Software will be developed using an agile-scrum development style, in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, architects, and systems engineers. Perform mid-level development, test, analysis, and validation of software. Collaborate with your team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices ensuring a high-quality standard. Familiar with good configuration management practices and will be responsible for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering required. Additional experience may substitute for degree. 2-7 years of relevant experience. Experience with Agile Scrum development methodology and associated tools. Experience developing software in C#. Experience debugging code. Experience with Agile development. Experience in Palantir development, certification desired. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communication skills to interface with government and contractors to represent technical and programmatic positions. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of office administration and procedures. Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully. Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results. Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented. Work well both independently and in a team environment. Be energized by a fast-paced work environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
