Responsibilities This position reports to the North American Public Safety Regional Development and Integration Team. This group develops, customizes, and implements software interfaces and integrations on a product and project basis. The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers and third-party vendors. Participating in project requirement gathering sessions Preparing and maintaining software design documentation Developing product to customer requirements Support testing with customers and third-party vendors Providing second tier support for custom software deliverables Performing project delivery tasks within stated budget and schedule Staying abreast of Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development Mentoring new employees as necessary Writes and implements efficient code. Works with more experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and perform unit testing. Engages with cross-functional teams to develop applications that meet customer needs. #

#LI-SD1 Education / Qualifications A bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities 6+ years' experience in software development Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset Experience in public safety workflows Experience in developing Public Safety applications is a plus
Working Knowledge of:
