The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be a key expert, solving complex application issues for our clients in the healthcare industry. This is an opportunity to use your deep technical and analytical skills to make a direct impact on our clients' success, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with product development to improve our solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deep expertise in healthcare interoperability and data exchange, including HL7 v2.x, flat files, APIs, and custom interfaces. Advanced hands-on experience with integration engines (Mirth Connect and Cloverleaf), including configuration, routing, transformations, error handling, and performance troubleshooting. Proficient in Mirth/Python scripting for automation, data manipulation, and workflow optimization. Strong ability to analyze messages, validate data, and troubleshoot complex, multi-system integration issues to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions. Solid understanding of integration architecture, message flow design, system dependencies, and change management processes. Experience documenting technical solutions, managing tickets in ServiceNow (or similar systems), and supporting knowledge sharing. Effective communicator with the ability to mentor junior consultants and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of healthcare security, privacy, and compliance requirements, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and critical incidents in a client-focused environment.
Role Requirements:
Must-Haves:
4-7 years of experience supporting healthcare integrations, interfaces, or interoperability solutions working directly with one or more integration engines. Strong preference for hands‑on experience in both Mirth and Cloverleaf. Demonstrate hands‑on experience with HL7 v2.x, flat files, APIs, and custom interfaces. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
Bachelor's Degree. Knowledge of HL7 interfaces or other healthcare interoperability standards. A collaborative spirit and a passion for mentoring others. ITIL Foundations certification. Working Arrangements This is a full-time, on-site role in Mobile, Alabama. This position includes participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours and holiday support. Availability may be needed during peak times (month/quarter/year-end). Up to 10% travel may be required.
Salary range:
