$60-65/hour Job Summary We are looking for a Java Developer with strong core Java fundamentals and hands-on experience with Java 8, Oracle databases, and Hibernate ORM framework. The ideal candidate should have experience building backend applications, working with relational databases, and understanding how Java applications interact with Oracle through Hibernate/JPA. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and related technologies. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code. Work with Java 8 features such as Streams, Lambda expressions, Functional Interfaces, and Optional. Design and develop database-driven applications using Oracle. Create and manage database entities, relationships, and transactions using Hibernate/JPA. Develop CRUD operations and REST-based services. Write SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and optimize database interactions. Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments. Required Skills Strong understanding of Core Java concepts: OOP concepts Collections Exception handling Multithreading basics JDBC Hands-on experience with Java 8 features: Streams API Lambda expressions Functional programming concepts Optional Strong Oracle database knowledge: SQL queries Joins Indexes Stored procedures Database design fundamentals Experience with

Hibernate/JPA:

Entity mapping One-to-One, One-to-Many, Many-to-Many relationships CRUD operations Lazy vs Eager loading Transaction management Understanding of how Hibernate integrates Java applications with Oracle databases. Experience creating and managing data persistence layers. Preferred Skills Experience with Spring or Spring Boot. Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
