Healthcare Applications Programmer - FT (40)

Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the Healthcare Applications Programmer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of custom software solutions to support Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center's operational, administrative, and reporting needs. This position works closely with the Senior Business Analyst to translate documented business requirements, system specifications, and process improvement initiatives into secure, scalable, and efficient technical solutions that support organizational goals and long-term digital transformation. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Proof of highest level of education completed, not less than high school diploma or equivalent Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Experience developing application-based or web-based software solutions Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and relational databases Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff and support personnel Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting applications used by hospital business or operational departments Familiarity with Healthcare Information Systems (HCIS) such as Meditech, Epic, or other electronic health record (EHR) platforms Experience working in healthcare IT or other regulated environments Familiarity with Active Directory, authentication systems, or identity management Experience supporting cloud-based or hybrid application environments Experience collaborating with Business Analysts to implement documented requirements Familiarity with reporting, data integration, or ETL processes Traci Johns 1600 S 20th Ave. Safford, AZ 85546
