Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Consultant on a contract basis to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing our product s entire lifecycle from the initial spark of ideation through design, manufacturing, and long-term service. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business strategy, ensuring our Andromeda PLM system is fully optimized and integrated with our broader digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring seamless transitions between ideation, engineering design, manufacturing, and after-sales service. Lead the integration of PLM workflows with Supply Chain Planning and ERP systems to ensure data continuity and operational efficiency. Provide expert-level maintenance and troubleshooting for the Andromeda PLM system. Identify bottlenecks in the current product development process and implement PLM-driven solutions to improve time-to-market. Act as the technical liaison between engineering, supply chain, and IT departments.
Required Skills:
Proven, hands-on experience specifically with the Andromeda PLM platform is a mandatory requirement for this role. Strong background in connecting PLM software with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) tools. Deep understanding of the functional stages of a product (R D, CAD integration, BOM management, and Change Management). Experience providing system administration, updates, and user support in a fast-paced environment.
