Up to $75/hr Job Summary We are seeking a talented Android + C++ Developer with strong expertise in C++ software development, compiler technologies, and visual tooling. The ideal candidate will have experience working on graphics-intensive applications, rendering technologies, and performance-critical software. Candidates from gaming, graphics, or visualization backgrounds are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications using C++. Work on visual tooling, rendering technologies, and graphical user interfaces. Develop and maintain software components related to graphics, visualization, and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance visual quality and performance. Support build processes, binary generation, and deployment to target hardware platforms. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software for performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications Core Development Skills Strong proficiency in C++ Software Development. Experience with compiler technologies, compiler toolchains, or compiler-related development. Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms. Experience developing performance-sensitive applications. Graphics & Rendering Experience with rendering techniques and graphics pipelines. Strong understanding of visual design, look and feel, and user experience considerations. Exposure to graphics frameworks, visualization tools, or gaming technologies is highly desirable. Build & Deployment Experience with software build systems and release processes. Understanding of binary generation, packaging, and deployment to target hardware or microchip platforms. Familiarity with embedded or hardware-targeted software deployment is a plus. Preferred Background Candidates from the gaming industry with strong C++ development experience are highly preferred. Experience working on graphics engines, rendering systems, simulation platforms, or visualization tools. Exposure to Android development is a plus. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong team collaboration and coordination abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan, Metal, or DirectX. Knowledge of performance optimization and profiling tools.
