Responsibilities:

Lead and support complex database upgrades, installations, and system enhancements across mainframe environments Plan, configure, test, and maintain core database systems including DB2, IMS, and ADABAS Perform database health checks, performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization Design logical and physical database structures and support backup, recovery, and replication processes Provide technical consulting to application and operations teams on database architecture and best practices

Requirements:

7+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer/DBA, including 3+ years in a lead role Strong expertise in IBM mainframe technologies: z/OS, DB2, IMS, ADABAS, CICS, and JCL Hands-on experience with database design, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and system utilities (SMP/E, BMC Tools) Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field Russell Tobin offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k
