We are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Metrics & Tools Specialist to join our Battlefield Radar & C2 team supporting the LTAMDS and GhostEye Family of radars.
What You Will Do:
Partner with the Performance and Execution Lead to define, collect, and analyze performance metrics for a large radar software program spanning multiple engineering teams. Configure Jira to track the program backlog and execution status. Design custom boards, queries, and dashboards for team self-monitoring and leadership reporting. Automate metric collection and dashboards to provide real-time data and reduce manual reporting. Collaborate with Program Management and Finance on schedule and budget tracking. Act as the tooling subject matter expert, training stakeholders to understand the metrics and easily navigate Jira dashboards. Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience. Jira skills including custom dashboards, advanced filters, JQL, and multi-board configurations or similar. Experience in automating data extraction and reporting workflows, in large enterprises. Experience in roles translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and non-technical users, in large enterprises. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams, Product Owners, Program Managers, and Finance. Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working on large defense, aerospace, or radar software programs. Experience integrating Jira execution data with broader financial and scheduling systems. Formal Atlassian or Jira administration certifications. Strong understanding of Agile execution metrics in a scaled software environment. What We Offer:
