Job Description:
Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Developer with 7+ years of experience in enterprise integrations, HR systems, and automation. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations between Workday and various internal/external systems using Workday studio. Key Responsibilities ? Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations (inbound/outbound) ?
Develop integrations using:
? Workday Studio ? Core Connectors (REST/SOAP) ? EIB, Cloud Connect ? Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions ? Integrate Workday with systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, and third-party SaaS tools ? Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and failures ? Implement data transformation, mapping, and error handling strategies ? Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are followed ? Maintain technical documentation and integration architecture diagrams ? Support Workday releases and regression testing Required Qualifications ? 7+ years of experience in Workday integrations and development ?
Strong hands-on experience with:
? Workday Studio ? EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) ? Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) ? Experience building end-to-end automation workflows and APIs ? Strong understanding of HRIS and Finance systems integration ?
Proficiency in:
?
XML, XSLT, JSON
? Web services (REST/SOAP) ? Experience with authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, etc.) ? Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills ? Experience in enterprise SaaS environments ? Familiarity with security, data privacy, and compliance standards ? Strong stakeholder communication skills ? Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions ? Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Nice-to-Have ? Experience with reporting tools (Workday Reports, Prism Analytics) ? Exposure to AI/automation use cases in HR tech stack ? 3+ years of experience with Workato or similar iPaaS tools ? Prior experience in large-scale digital transformation programs
