Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team for a high-priority 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects within a fast-paced environment, focusing on full stack development with Java and React. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions to support Finance and Tax teams globally. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand use cases and build end-to-end solutions. Forge strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various teams. Provide post-launch support and enhance existing applications as needed. Utilize strong analytical skills to solve complex problems effectively. Skills Proven experience in full stack development with strong expertise in Java and React. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with API design and implementation (gRPC, GraphQL, RESTful, SOAP). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills Experience with distributed data processing and data modeling concepts. Knowledge of Python and its application in software development. Prior experience supporting finance teams or working in fintech environments.
