Job Description:
Product Engineer - Robotics Platforms (Customer-Facing / Full Stack) We are building large-scale embodied intelligence systems designed to operate in complex real-world environments. Our work spans robot foundation models, deployment infrastructure, and end-to-end systems that enable humans and machines to collaborate in physical environments. We are seeking a Product Engineer to build the applications, APIs, and internal tools used to evaluate, train, deploy, and operate robotic systems. This role blends product thinking, systems engineering, and hands-on software development, with direct exposure to customers, deployment partners, and internal research teams. You will work across the full stack - from web interfaces and APIs to robotics interfaces and operational workflows - shaping how users interact with and control advanced robotic systems. What You'll Do Build Customer-Facing and Internal Product Systems Develop the primary web applications used by researchers, operators, and deployment partners Build tools for evaluating, training, and diagnosing robot models Create workflows that support robot deployment, QA, and operational monitoring Design APIs and System Interfaces Design and implement external and internal APIs for interacting with robotics systems Build robust interfaces that expose model capabilities, diagnostics, and control systems Ensure APIs are scalable, reliable, and easy to integrate for partners and internal teams Work Directly With Customers and Stakeholders Spend significant time with customers and deployment partners to understand real-world use cases Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and technical implementations Act as a bridge between external users, researchers, engineers, and operations teams Build Across the Full Stack Work across web, backend, infrastructure, and robotics interfaces Contribute to systems spanning: Web applications (React, TypeScript) Backend services (FastAPI or similar) Databases (Postgres) Cloud infrastructure (AWS) Robot-facing interfaces and tooling Enable Company-Wide Productivity Build internal tools that accelerate research, engineering, and operations workflows Improve usability and accessibility of complex robotics systems Help define how humans interact with and evaluate embodied AI systems What We're Looking For Strong product intuition and a focus on user experience and usability Experience building modern full-stack applications Familiarity with: TypeScript React Backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI or similar) SQL databases (Postgres) Cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) Ability to work across ambiguous problem spaces and turn user needs into shipped products Comfort working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Experience Experience in product engineering, platform engineering, or full-stack systems roles Exposure to ML systems, robotics, or complex technical products Experience building internal tools or developer platforms Familiarity with fast iteration workflows and AI-assisted development tools Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize customer feedback into engineering priorities Why This Role Matters Directly shape how users interact with advanced robotic systems Work across research, engineering, and real-world deployments Build the core product surface of a next-generation robotics platform High-impact role with strong ownership across the full stack About the Company We are a research-driven AI and robotics company focused on building scalable embodied intelligence systems. By combining advances in machine learning, robotics, and full-stack product engineering, we aim to build systems that operate reliably in the physical world. We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
