Job Description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Software Engineer. Position Summary Seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications that support critical business operations and public services. This role will be responsible for leading software development initiatives, improving system architecture, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong full-stack development experience, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and a commitment to delivering quality software solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of new application features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop scalable APIs, web applications, and backend services.
  • Perform code reviews and establish development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations between internal and third-party applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions and long-term technology planning.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Support application deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Minimum Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience
  • Seven (7) or more years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments. Required Technical Skills
  • C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework
  • ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core
  • RESTful API development
  • JavaScript, TypeScript
  • React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • SQL Server and relational database design
  • Git version control
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Software Design Patterns
  • Unit Testing and Automated Testing
  • CI/CD Pipelines Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience developing secure applications and implementing cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale public sector, government, healthcare, or enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and infrastructure automation.
Compensation depends on experience but is typically 80/hr.
