100% onsite near Placentia, CA (Only local candidates will be considered)
Terms :
Direct-hire Compensation :
$110,000 to 120,000 annual base salary . Partnered with a client who is hiring an experienced Data Engineer to design and scale reliable data pipelines, strengthen the data warehouse, and elevate data quality across the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in SQL, Python (especially!), AWS, and automation-and enjoys partnering across technical and business teams to deliver impact. . What You'll Do Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines Support data modeling and data warehouse development Improve SQL performance, data reliability, and automation Troubleshoot data issues and drive continuous process improvements Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions Uphold code quality, documentation, and engineering best practices What We're Looking For 3+ years of data engineering experience Advanced SQL skills (optimization, data modeling) Strong AWS experience (Glue, Lambda, S3, Step Functions) Proficiency in Python for data pipelines and automation Experience with ETL/ELT, APIs, and system integrations Strong communication skills and ability to work independently CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) . .
