Story Health is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team. You will work on all systems including patient facing user interfaces, backend algorithms, clinician tools, and practical machine learning solutions where appropriate. Responsibilities Be a key contributor to the early stages of an innovative health tech startup contributing wherever needed Work with a cross-functional product team to implement technical products Solve product problems through analysis, design, and development of technical solutions Design, code, test, and maintain production software systems Required Qualifications B.S. degree in computer science or a related field Strong collaborative mindset that works well with a team to deliver Ability to work quickly and efficiently as part of a nimble, remote team to find the simple, clever solution Ability to come up to learn new technologies and new domains quickly with a deep curiosity and self-starting learning skills 1+ year of experience shopping software as a hands on member of a team or a master's degree in computer science or a related field Experience writing unit tests and using static code analysis tools Experience writing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Experience with SQL and relational databases A passion for health and medicine Nice to Have Experience with TypeScript and React Understanding of REST APIs ‍ Apply now See more open positions at Story Health
