Job Description Candidate will provide Field Applications support to strategic customer based on Analog Devices power product portfolio. The role requires positioning the best technology solutions tailored to customer needs while growing Analog Devices market share. This position also involves working with Sales, Business Units and Technology Groups to identify and support key opportunities and define new products. Candidate should have strong expertise in power topologies and analog design. This position will be based in the Bay Area, California for local support.
Role:
Team up with Sales to provide technical field applications support to Strategic and Key Consumer customers with system knowledge, drive technology discussions and design ins for specific product areas with a focus on maximizing share, forming deep customer relationships, and driving exemplary customer satisfaction. Focus primarily on power products, support customer needs to yield optimal solutions at system level. Direct interface with customer providing technical guidance for power products, support recommended solutions, Characterization and Validation Reports, on-site troubleshooting, debug board and system level issues Design and Simulation works, schematic and PCB layout reviews and help QA teams with field issues. Work with Product Lines in defining and developing new products to address future customer needs. Collect customer's technical requirements and macro trend of the application. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Product Lines' Management, Marketing, and Application.
Qualifications:
BS/MSEE in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related field Background and practical experience in power electronics required. Background in NI-LabVIEW, Python and programming languages Strong knowledge in using bench equipment such as Source Meters, Oscilloscopes, Electronic load, Power supplies and Spectrum Analyzers More than 3-year experience in power electronics related to Consumer, Mobile, Computing, Networking, or Automotive market Strong knowledge of power conversion topologies: Buck, Boost, Flyback, BAT-charger, LDO and loop stability and dynamics for power systems. Experience with CAD and simulation tools: LTspice, Simplis/Simetrix, Allegro Familiarity with communication

General system level knowledge, strong knowledge in hardware design Self-motivated and dynamic team player required Ability to help/collaborate with others Excellent hands-on lab skills Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability and setting priorities Excellent English speaking/writing and communication skills. 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $99,360 to $136,620. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
