Title:
Sr. Software Engineer Level•2 with 10 years experience
Location:
West Sacramento, CA 95605
Duration:
24 Months Need only for State / other Gov Agencies in CA-Min 3 years. The Sr. Software Engineer Level•2, must have a minimum of three years of experience providing senior software engineering services to a California State department, federal, state, local or public agency.
Mandatory Skills:
The Sr. Software Engineer Level•2, must have a minimum of five consecutive years of experience providing senior software engineering services.
This experience must include:
Designing software solutions which incorporate stakeholder feedback and engagement. Ensuring solutions meet the needs of the organization and are completed on time and within budget. Leading development projects, managing code, and mentoring junior engineers. They ensure that projects. Writing, testing and debugging code, ensuring it is operational. Working collaboratively with teams and reporting to Project Manager.
Desired Skills:
Two or more consecutive years of experience in the last 10 years providing senior software engineering consultative services to a State of California department using Agile methodology.
Technical skills:
Software Architecture:
Microservices, Cloud Migration (AWS/Azure), CI/CD Pipelines
Programming & Databases:
Python, Java, C#, SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
Security & Governance:
Risk Management, Data Privacy, Compliance Auditing
Domain Knowledge:
Infrastructure Safety, Regulatory Reporting, Utility Asset Management Education:
Bachelor s Degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis (must be documented).
