- C2BMC "This position is for a Software Engineer on the C2BMC Global program, supporting the development of future missile-defense capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Will primarily be responsible for software development in Java
- Interact with others using strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work either independently or collaboratively in a small group
- Be flexible in a highly dynamic, ever-changing environment
- Provide in-depth analysis and technical support for a large, distributed Java system
- Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large codebase
- Follow specifications to develop or modify functionality in the code
- Assist in design, benchmarking, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Interface with other system support groups to resolve issues, set standards, and improve the system's overall efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
- Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to be cleared at TS/SCI
- Experience with Java or C++ software development, software testing, or software integration
- Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
- Frequent contact with internal and external customers and representation of the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application are highly preferred
- Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, is highly preferred. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
- Full-stack web development experience preferred, including Angular/Cesium/JWT Authentication/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/Node.js/Wildfly
- Experience with Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Confluence is highly desired
