Principal Software Architect

Senior Software Architect We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise cloud, data, and AI solutions. Responsibilities Design scalable, secure cloud and enterprise application architectures. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Develop AI and data platform solutions to support business operations. Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and design guidance to engineering teams. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise technology solutions. Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards. Support software delivery through architecture reviews and technical oversight. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role. Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and enterprise architecture. Experience with AI, machine learning, cloud data platforms, and application modernization. Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and modern DevOps practices. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
