Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Developer / Finance Lead to support a large insurance client's financial transformation. This is a hands-on technical leadership role partnering closely with the Solution Architect to translate strategy into execution, driving development across .NET, Azure, APIs, and data layers. This individual will own end-to-end delivery for complex financial applications—helping assess current systems, drive modernization efforts, and build scalable, compliant solutions tied to general ledger and broader finance workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep finance domain expertise, strong Microsoft stack experience, and the ability to lead highly technical initiatives while mentoring developers and ensuring consistent engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and production reliability in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote, 6 month contract-to-hire with a pay range of $80-90/hr and salary conversion up to 170k.
Day-to-Day:
  • Partner closely with the Solution Architect to translate high-level architecture into hands-on full stack delivery
  • Lead development across the stack (.NET, APIs, Azure services, SQL/data layers) for complex, business-critical applications
  • Own end-to-end execution of features and enhancements (design → build → deploy → production support)
  • Build and optimize APIs, integrations, and data pipelines supporting financial systems and ERP platforms
  • Drive CI/CD, testing, and release processes to improve deployment speed and reliability
  • Lead production support efforts, including root cause analysis, debugging, and post-mortems for highly technical issues
  • Work directly with developers to assign work, unblock challenges, and ensure high-quality code delivery
  • Help standardize engineering practices, architecture patterns, and documentation across applications
  • Balance immediate delivery needs with long-term architecture goals, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Serve as a technical lead and mentor, raising the bar across full stack development and cloud engineering We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
