$65 an hour (some flex) Top Skills Kubernetes AWS Linux Bachelor's Degree Position Overview We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a Department of Justice program in Washington, DC. This role will focus on managing and automating cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, and server administration across secure AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and automation tools, along with a desire to continue growing within the DevOps field. Key Responsibilities Manage Kubernetes application deployments across multiple environments Develop and maintain deployment pipelines for container updates, infrastructure deployments, and application launches Automate Linux and Windows server administration tasks Support and maintain AWS cloud environments Ensure compliance with security standards across Linux and Windows environments Collaborate with technical teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and automation processes Required Qualifications Active Top Secret Clearance required prior to start date Bachelor's degree required 2+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or Systems Administration role Hands-on experience with AWS environments and administration Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or AWS Systems Manager Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting and/or Windows administration with PowerShell Knowledge of containers and container orchestration technologies Technical Skills Kubernetes
