  • GE Aerospace is seeking a motivated Senior Enterprise Application Engineer to Join GE Aerospace's Defense & Systems Digital Technology team to enable and modernize our engineering toolchain.
You will administer, integrate, and automate ECAD applications and databases, resolve complex issues, and support end users to accelerate aerospace product development. Leveraging AWS, cloud, DevOps, and automation, you'll optimize workflows, strengthen infrastructure, and collaborate with engineering leaders to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.

  • In this role you will:
  • + Lead technical support and drive innovation for engineering tools and database systems while ensuring compliance with required standards and regulations.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to identify needs, develop solutions, and enhance design productivity. + Administer and support ECAD tools and infrastructure (install, configure, debug; client/server issue resolution). + Integrate ECAD with enterprise systems (Windchill and/or Teamcenter PLM, ERP, manufacturing) and manage ECAD libraries/databases. + Automate workflows and CI/CD (Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, JFrog); script in Java/Python. + Architect and operate AWS environments for servers/workstations; manage licensing and identity (LDAP/SAML). + Ensure cybersecurity compliance and network fundamentals (switching/routing); align to company standards. + Support and optimize databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle RDS, Cassandra). + Evaluate and implement new tools/technologies; provide documentation and training to engineering teams. + Support key applications: Siemens Xpedition, EDM, HyperLynx, OneSim, Valor, Capital; Altium Designer; Relyence.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience + At least 2 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. +
  • Note:
  • Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
  • Eligibility Requirement:
  • + Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • + Hands-on experience with ECAD tools; Siemens ECAD tools experience and PLM integration experience a plus.
+ Experience with automation and cloud a plus: Ansible, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, JFrog, AWS. + Proficiency in Java and Python; strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. + Familiarity with cybersecurity/compliance (DO-178, CMMC, Export Control). + Database skills: design, query optimization, and integration across listed platforms. _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))._
