Job Description

Embedded Software Engineer responsible for developing embedded C/C++ software for defense-related systems in an onsite engineering environment. Job Requirements U.S. citizenship required Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain a Secret clearance required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 10+ years of software engineering experience Experience programming embedded systems using C/C++ Familiarity with Docker Ability to work onsite in Columbia, MD or Indialantic, FL Ability to support a contract-to-direct employment structure Preferred Skills Active Secret clearance Experience with DSP Experience with RF systems Experience with FPGA-related development or integration Defense, aerospace, or government contracting experience Embedded Linux experience Experience developing software for hardware-integrated systems Job Responsibilities Develop embedded software using C/C++ for defense-related systems Design, code, test, and debug embedded software applications Support software integration with hardware systems and embedded platforms Use Docker in support of development, build, or deployment workflows Support development activities involving DSP, RF, or FPGA-based systems when applicable Troubleshoot embedded software issues during development, integration, and testing Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and technical evaluations Create and maintain software documentation related to design, implementation, and testing Support system-level integration and verification activities Work onsite with engineering teams in
