Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer to serve as a hands-on technical leader within a small, high-performing development team. This role requires a strong blend of deep technical expertise, leadership, and accountability , with a primary focus on building and maintaining enterprise-grade business applications. The ideal candidate is a credible technical leader who leads by example through coding, mentoring, and sound decision-making, while maintaining high standards for quality and delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies Act as a hands-on technical leader , contributing significantly to coding efforts (approximately 70-80%) Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to development team members Collaborate with product, QA, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions Drive architecture decisions, design patterns, and best practices across the team Own delivery outcomes, including quality, timelines, and overall execution Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and development standards Participate in problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization Quickly learn and adopt new tools and technologies, including modern AI-enabled development tools Required Qualifications 10-20 years of professional software engineering experience Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead engineering role Strong hands-on experience with: C# / .NET (backend development) JavaScript and modern UI development Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles Experience building and supporting enterprise/business applications Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with React or modern front-end frameworks Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure) Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation) Understanding of application security best practices Experience working in domains such as supply chain, inventory management, or merchandising systems
