Software Engineer Education Requirements:
Bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar degree.
Experience Requirements:
At least 5 years of software engineering experience Experience with native cloud development languages such as Python, Go, Java, and JavaScript Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principle Must possess or obtain CompTIA Security+ within 180 days of hire Interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to coordinate and communicate with executives, external partners, and project stakeholders Proficiency with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS CloudTrail, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center) is preferred Applicant selected must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility . Position Description:
deciBel Research is looking an experienced software development engineer to support operations at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, Florida. In this position, the successful candidate will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) scientists, engineers, program managers and operators by advancing software-based solutions for mission systems. In this position, the successful candidate will contribute to systems design, performance and security.
Responsibilities Include:
