Job Requirements
POSITION SUMMARY
The Tapestry Identity Engineer operates within Epic's security infrastructure and designs and provisions role-based security for users. The Tapestry Identity Engineer aligns security strategy and application configuration. The Tapestry Identity Engineer serves as an experienced technical team member and is a domain expert in identity and access management. The Tapestry Identity Engineer proactively works with customers, stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineers to troubleshoot and find the root cause of technology and security defects.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Works with stakeholders to design system-level access by assessing and classifying roles using Identity and Access Management tools. Provisions application security levels and roles, and establishes ownership of each particular security class. Coordinates security template and role updates and establishes a security change control process aligned to Health First change management processes, and security-related activity across teams. Creates user records and maps them to templates built by application coordinators/analysts, and appropriately shared security classifications that do not have specific application ownership. Builds and maintains procedures to activate, deactivate, and update user records. Ensure configurations meet or exceed Health First security standards and be an active member of security workgroup(s). Manages and leads technical projects within their area of expertise. Communicates with users and management the status and completion of work requests. Supports, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots with the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Work Experience:
Three (3) years' experience in delivery of relevant IT solutions or services including, identity and access management, information security, or security engineering.
Licensure:
None Certification:
Epic Security certification within one (1) year of start date and maintained.
Work Experience In Lieu of Education:
Any one of the following: Associate's degree and an additional two (2) years' applicable technical experience OR High School Diploma and an additional four (4) years' applicable technical experience.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Understand the Tapestry software security structures, including user profiles, roles, and security classes. Demonstrated understanding of concepts in Information Technology and in one or more of the following areas: Identity and Access engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Information Security. Strong soft skills, verbal and written communications, including the ability to turn complex technical topics into understandable terminology. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision within their domain. Builds trust among colleagues, be a continuous learner, and focus on delivering capabilities for the customer.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in STEM field.
Work Experience:
Five (5) years' experience with healthcare or similarly complex industry.
Certification:
Epic Security certification prior to start date.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. Long periods of computer time or at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle. Benefits
